Bus Drop Off & Pick Up

We have arranged for buses to drop off and pick up passengers near the White House at Farragut Square Park. This park is one block from Lafayette Park, where the opening rally is taking place. Buses can drop off on 17th St. between I St. NW and K St. NW. Buses can return to this same location to pick up passengers. After buses drop off passengers, they need to leave the drop off area and park until it’s time to pick the passengers up. See below for recommended bus parking lot.

Bus Parking

We recommend that buses traveling to the Saturday, January 10 Let Gaza Live National March on Washington park at Union Station. Details are below.

The address of Union Station is 30 Massachusetts Ave. NE in Washington, D.C., 20002. This location is about 2 miles from the White House.

Reservations are not required and increase the cost of the space, but they are recommended since the lot does sometimes fill up.

Without a reservation, bus parking is $20 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, plus $10 from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Payment can be in cash or with a credit card.

With a reservation, it is $50 a day. To make a reservation, send a fax to 202-898-1955 with the following information: date, time, number of buses, and contact information. They will call you back with confirmation and then get your payment information (credit card only).

Note on access: Entrance is on the east side of Union Station. Follow Massachusetts Avenue to the circle in front (Columbus Circle) and look for signs to the parking lot.

The phone number for the parking garage at Union Station is 202-898-1950. They are open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday for more information.

Car and Van Parking

There are many parking lots in the White House area in which cars can park. Some of these lots also take 15-passenger vans. There is street parking, but it is limited and fills up fast. Some meters do not have to be paid on Saturdays. If you are parking on the street, please read all parking signs carefully and check for "emergency no parking" signs.” Parking in a lot will most likely be easier and more convenient.
